CCB understands accidents and oversights happen. That’s why having our Overdraft Protection LOC comes in handy. It covers transactions that exceed your account balance, making banking easier and stress free.

How it works:

1st Apply

Applying is simple. Click on the application methods below:

• Fill out an applicationand bring to any of our 3 locations
• Talk with banker via phone at your local branch

2nd Link your Account

Once approved, choose which CCB account you would like to link to your Overdraft Protection LOC so funds will be transferred automatically if you overdraw your account.

• Once your Overdraft Protection LOC and your deposit account are linked, funds will automatically be transferred from the linked Overdraft Protection LOC account as follows:
  • If the negative account balance in your checking account is $0, funds may be transferred in multiples of $10

Other Ways to avoid Overdraft/Returned Item Fees:

• Set up account alerts and receive notifications when your balance is low.
• Monitor your account and deposit funds into your checking account on your own before an overdraft occurs.

Overdraft Coverage vs. Overdraft Protection LOC

Remember, Overdraft Item Fee/Returned Item Fee coverage and Overdraft Protection LOC are different. At Coffee County Bank, the terms Overdraft Item Fee/Returned Item Fee refer to how we will handle transactions for your account. If a transaction takes your Available Balance negative, we look to your overdraft coverage to decide how we will handle the transaction. Coffee County Bank may authorize and pay overdrafts for these types of transactions for a fee:

• Checks and other transactions using your checking account number
• Automatic bill payments
• Recurring Debit Card Transactions

We will not charge and will pay overdrafts for these types of transactions

• ATM Transactions
• Debit Card Purchases (e.g. buying groceries, paying for gas at the pump, online purchases)

Each overdraft item we pay on your behalf may be subject to “Overdraft Item Fee” fees. Each item we return may be subject to “Returned Item Fee”.
